The highlights that you were able to capture gives the beautiful weave of the hose a great focus point. The closep of the patterns are incredible. The black background help to give the hose a feeling of structure and roundness. "10"

At first I thought that was light coming through the hose but looking at it closer looks like peanut butter. :) Interesting subject matter with great texture. Has a very abstract feel to it.

Another good rhythnic composition - sense of metl from the reflections. I wonder if less directly front-on lighting might have given a more profound sense of real texture, rather than a patterning.

oh I like this -- abstract impact and, upon study, I like the bit of black space on either side (perhaps even more would be good?)
