 Hung a chrome ball from a thin black thread. Lit with a couple of flashlights.

Cloned out thread and some lens flares. Sharpened, played with contrast. Removed noise. Cloned out some artifacts.

I expect this image to bomb and/or get a lot of DNMC's, but I like it very much.

Interesting. You leave a lot to the imagination. The uneven glow gives the orb movement and weight. The bright spot is like a spark in the darkness. This might be what the universe looks like from afar.

Not sure what this is and I am guessing you are going for the abstract look here. The orb looks a bit oof

Not sure exactly what I am looking at, but I like the effect. Feels like another planet. The emitting forms of light and the competing darkness works well. A slightly sharper focus might have improved the image a bit, but it is a wonderful abstract the way it is.

Interesting title.... if only the surface was sharper, it looks a bit like a game texture mapped rendered object, especially with the "polygonal" outline at the top, if this has been masked, greater care to make sure it was perfectly circular would have made a difference but I might be wrong

Not quite sure what I am looking at. Makes me wonder slightly, but doesnt have enough interest factor to keep me wondering.
