wonderful detail and dof
i think the background would be better if it had been a different color and provide more contrast.

The texture is great. I think you should've tried to get a bigger DOF so that the tip is also in focus.

nice shot - wonderful background shows off the fuzzy - here the slightly out-of-focus extra stems work well. composition is pleasing.

great sense of texture. not wholly convinced about that stalk at the contrary angle - serves to break what might otherwise have been a pretty dull composition, but I'm also not sure that it mightn't have been a beautifully simple composition.

good choice of subject indeed - think a closer crop on the main plant would suffice better. as it is there is a lot of wasted space.

I think the depth of field is a bit too shallow here. Maybe stopping down a bit to render the whole subject in focus would add to the overall sense of its texture. Good luck.
