 Had three Mozart calla lilies and shot them with one clamp lamp with a 100w halogen bulb set above the shooting area direct at the subjects. No other lights were on in the room.

Post: Convert from raw in PSElements 3.0. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue saturation. USM. Resize. USM.

on all technicals I think this is a great shot but something doesn't fit quite right, maybe a different composition?

I'm guessing the shadows inside the flowers drove the orientation of the individual blooms? Nice shot regardless.

Nice and simple, great lighting... altho I think having gone for harsher shadows would've given an extra punch =p

very delicate and beautiful colors. you should have punched up reds a little bit. green is overwhelming compared to reds and yellows. 7
