 Popcorn.......how exciting can this stuff get?
So here is the set up:
Plain popcorn
Glitter glue(to get the streak effect)
Frying pan
Husband that is Master of egg flipping :)
Black backdrop
500watt light
Flash

Had a lot of fun with this one. One of the biggest problems was when you put glitter glue on popcorn, it goes all gooey and shrinks to peanut size, so they ended up really small. by luck I put it on a few days before the challenge ended as it took about 2 days to dry.
My Master egg flipper (a.k.a.-Hubby) flipped the popcorn in front of the black backdrop.
A good few trials and errors but I liked this one as the streaks came out good and they are starting to fall.

A unique and interesting shot. There is a bit too much top room on this shot for my personal taste, but the effort to get this one and nail it clearly mitigates the framing issues I have. Great creativity!

Refreshing to see a different take on the challenge. It could use a little more of that explosive feel though. Like with fireworks its more interesting when they are caught shooting upward and exploding rather than falling back down.

Clever; I'll be anxious to read how you got the yellow streaks without setting the kernels on fire! Nice composition and contrast with black background.

This is an interesting idea, nicely done. I wish there wasn't so much wasted space at top though. I like that the popcorn kernels are different colors, but usually with fireworks there is some kind of pattern to things, the colors here just look random. I really like the trails though.
