 It's still gray and dreary here but nothing stops the surfers. At Morro Rock, you can walk out so that you are parallel to the surfers. I counted 23 surfers.

They dont really look like they are suffering too much. I like the overall composition of this scene. One going and one waiting. great capture.

With wetsuits they were probably as warm as toast in there. Nice to capture the curve of the wave and the surfers. Later on, I expect those waves will be LOTS bigger.

Meanwhile, bring on the Rock!

I love the tones and lines of this picture; don't think you could have got a more pleasing contrast between surfers and wave in any other kind of light. (Okay, so I might crop about 2" off the bottom to make the lines even more dynamic, though I like the foamy water, but I like the action better).
