 Painted the mask gold with airbrush, the tank is sprayed silver. Cropped the image, in Lightroom I adjusted;
shadows, contrast, colour.

LanndonKane (and others), this was basic editing. He also used dodge and burn, which is not allowed.

I think that you should post the original UNEDITED (resides) version of this image so we can all see what was done to the image.

So now we get to see if DQ's can be withdrawn. You've obviously done nothing to break the rules.

Unless the SC come up with some other lame excuse as to why they DQ'd it.

I like this: well, perhaps that's a bit strong: I like the difference of it, like that its entered here where it will of course not win. It has a certain madness of intent to it that fascinates.

Oooooooooooooooh I'm loving this shot!!! Dramatic lighting to the bones!!!!! The gas mask completes the shot, the strain in the neck is a perfect touch as well! Best of luck!!!
