I thought he made and interesting study as his body has the same colors as the surrounding flowers, the white fur (hair on his body), the big black thorny legs. As a matter of fact, I almost walked right into him...

While some may think it has a busy background, I decided to choose this particular shot because it did in fact show him blending with the flowering around him. I also have shots of his underside showing his two big eyes..ugh!

I like the colors and how the focus seems to be on both the flower and the spider. seems a little blurry though. Also try to get your file size as close to 150 kb as possible, your image is only 72 kb. If you are unsure how to do this and have photoshop, you may want to look at this tutorial on how to prepare your images for submission. I hate to see good images not get their fair vote because the image was too small a file size.

nice capture, composition and colors. Could be much better, if the spider was less out of focus

lack of sharp focus in this image really is going to impact the score negatively.

I don't like spiders at all so I'm just going to look at the key board while I am typing this. The front legs look a little OOF and the background is a bit distracting but I'm going to give you an extra point for getting as close as you did.
