lack of impact, or interest. it looks like just money laying there. |

You could have added some pennies (cents) for color contrast. |

Too random, I think you could use one subject, one coin thats bigger than the rest maybe so that you have a particular subject that stands from the rest, |

You must have a big pocket!! _ ;-) Nice shot, good lighting: enough for the shoot and not to have nasty reflections; good texture idea. The composition itself is rather monotonous, another element, say a bill placed strategically would have been interesting. |

Some of the detail seems a bit blurry, I think making it sharper would have been an improvement |

More depth of field would have helped this. Also, the image needs something composition wise to break it up. |

myself I don;t find money photo's all that interesting - something we see every daya and unless you have some clever lighting etc it's quite dull. |

Wonderfully controlled lighting and exposure - not losing the brightness of the subject, yet without that glare so very common in these shots. Very slight drift of focus to the left of frame I think, just doesn't have quite the sparkling sharpness of the other. |

must be hard to walk with all that in your pocket... ;-)
I would like to have seen some other object in this picture to make the composition more interesting. |

For this kind of shot to work for me, it has to be well lit with super sharp focus. Not easy to do. |

I just found it a bit too busy, my eye didn't know where to look. Better than the other coin ones though. |

A large set of objects can made a subject and compose a texture, like you do. I like the idea. Your light setup don´t help you to reveal the textures of the subject. To reveal textures the light must be in a hard angle setuped to do it. A common setup is a lateral 45 or 90 degrees. But top or down light works well too.
