I had just driven across the bridge in the fog and stopped at the overlook to grab this image... Since I shot directly into the sun, it was fun pulling this out with levels, curves, s & h, some color adjusting.

The fog can make for some interesting photo ops... I took a photo from this same perspective about 20 years ago with a Princess cruise ship going under the bridge with the fog lifting. Nice shot.

Wow such a beautiful catch! I love how the bridge is disappearing into the fog. What a wonderful photo!

I'm weird, I love fog. I really like this unique POV of the bridge. Very nice.

This is great with the emphasis on the fog, yet retaining the bridge and the rock and the road below to keep it interesting. Also, it reminds me of the countless times I rode my bike up the hill from Sausalito over the bridge to SF when I was in high school and during breaks from college -- it depicts the difference in altitude between the bay and the top of the road deck on the bridge very well.

I'd call it Ladder to the Sky. Or one like that could've been shot in those conditions.
Fog, is made of water vapor, too, right. And so are rain clouds. Nice mood in the Loch Ness bay.

Well done. I am glad that I don't have to do that commute. You did a good job of getting this image to look like it does, after reading your description of what you had to work with. The blue in the one corner and the dark rock in the other gives a nice balanced feel to the shot.

Astounding. Like the unusual/unlikeliness and the most interesting and effective composition. A picture to come back to.

nicely done with the bridge almost out of the shot so that your focus is on the fog.

I think you did a great job pulling out the colors. And that fog bank looks so daunting!
