 This is a pond I like to hang around in the summer, trying to capture the perfect shot of a trout leaping from the water. This pond must be stocked with lots of rainbow trout.

Anyhow, it's starting to freeze over. By Christmas or sooner it will be completely frozen on the surface.

These leaves are on the shore line. There are 1/4 inch slabs of small ice floating freely around the middle of the pond, though. I loved the textures of the ice mixed with the leaves, like a natural overlay!
