 Purpose was to depict the dark, melancholic side of flowers.
Taken in a dark room with a pen torch as a light source, painting the subject with light over 30 seconds.
Exposure compensation of RAW image and adjustments of levels and curves and sepia effect applied.

@DistantColours, in retrospect I agree with you. I'm not clever enough to manage it with a single light source yet. Maybe one day...
@dmadden, yes I did paint with light. And yes, it could be a bit brighter in some areas. For impact, the following photo in my photostream is a little better.

Nevertheless, for my first ever entry, I don't think I can complain. I will strive to get better and appreciate your comments, criticism and compliments.

It's ok but looks a bit flat. I think a stationary light source would have been better.
