 the title refers to the bird that isnt immediately obvious just above the spider's head .. & then there's the double meaning ..
i was only going to combine two flower photographs which i did ..
these are the two original photographs of the flowers ..


i combined them using different blending modes and came up with something quite colourful but lacking a subject ...

i then thought of bringing in a bee coz it would go well with the 'scene' ..
on my travels thru my photographs i came across the wolf spider .. i used different photographs of him in a 'real' challenge and our slice of life ...

i like contrasts so this appealed to me .. beauty and the beast sort'v ..
i processed the spider into the flowers, and then thought a 'real' texture might add to the effect and found this reject of a bird on the firetrail that i took a while ago ..

wOw. You really took off with it. I feel like you and I should go at it and see how much damage we can do to it. LOL.. just kidding.. I like this a lot. I can't remember very well when or where but I know that some time in the 70's everything looked like this to me. ANd I hate spiders. but great work.

It kist looks like fairyland with that spider face and all the amazing kaleidscope of bright ofcolors.....

Oh this is like a magical mystery tour of arachnids. I love how you use such vivid tones to create a fantasy for the eyes. HEE HEE - ain't it grand?
