 This is a normal electric heater that I have in my living room - very boring and mundane, which I shot using macro. The black vertical lines are part of the grid protecting the electric heater. The grid is black because there is no light in front of the heater - I used the light produced by the heater itself to get the picture.

INteresting study that is a bit hard to look at. I think that the problem is that the contrasts are too much...
