I want to thank everyone for your comments and votes. You really don't know how much this means to me.

I would also like to thank Neil for letting me use his lens to take this shot. Without it I would have been watching from the sidelines.

Just for the record this is not my house. I was actually riding around town looking for something really neat to take a picture of and just happened to see this house. If you look close enough you can actually see 1 of the 2 ladies that was sitting on the porch. When I pulled up I saw them and was thinking, "I know they won't let me take a picture of this house" but when I went up to ask them they said that they didn't think the owner would mind. So I walk back to my truck, grab my camera and just as I go back to shoot, the owner shows up. I explained who I was and what I was doing and she said sure shoot away...

After I edited the image I printed off a 4x6 of the original and the edited version and took it over to them so they could see what I did to their house. The owner was amazed and so was I for getting the EXACT look I was going for.

I LOVE the editing on this image. You're good!! I wondered what the original looked like when I voted on this one and am just now coming back over to see!!!??? Sorry it took me so long. I was one of the people that gave you a 10. This was one of my favs in this challenge, btw. Thanks for including the original on this one!

My favorite of the challenge. Nicely muted color tones and what a great decoration job! I wish that it wasn't so tight on the house but of course that would be assuming that the house has eerie trees etc. surrounding it (which of course it probably doesn't)! Nicely done. Back to bump you up to 8.
