| Good portrait. A more edgy PP with the black and white could have given it a overall stronger look, right now I feel it's quite mediocre. |

| dont like your subject broad lit, prefer key light from the right in this pose. i would have seen more lines in his skin to show age and wisdom.. a 6 |

| Very nice face and gently lit, but a bit too much forehead is taking attention away from his eyes. I like the angle you used; I'd just crop much tighter on top. |

Your title says a lot for this photo. I like that expression.

| The lighting is ok here but I would say it needs a little more contrast on the face (it's all very grey) and I would probably crop the top and left slightly for composition. |
