The backlighting and the arresting gaze just makes this such a compelling image to look at. |

Very nostaligic looking. The backlit hair makes the shot for me. |

Another great job of processing. That backlighting really sets off the whole picture. |

Totally brilliant! This is such art, Charlie. It would look good in a frame on the wall of a gallery. Love your photos and your beautiful models. Hope to see more of your work!!

This is really lovely. Her expression and that wonderful backlighting. You did great things with this. It definitely sets a mood.
I wouldn't be so quick to sell the original too short though. It's pretty magical in itself. :) |

This is the kind of portrait that I love...moody, atmospheric, introspective. The glowing light from behind combined with the layering treatment enhance the image dramatically. My favorite of yours. Just great, Charlie! See you in November for textures! |

Geez, Louise!! I missed this one?? That is REALLY fantastic. Looks like the cover of a Stephen King novel. GREAT work with the grunge layer. It can make or break a shot and it definitely MADE that one. I'll miss this challenge. Onward to the TEXTURES one~~ |
