I tend to do this too, I see a pretty scene and shoot it. I want to capture the moment of the sounds, air, water, etc. But when showing an image to people who were not there, they are taking it out of context and cannot feel the photographers experience without a center of interest (the house is too far away to be one). Try placing something, like a child or a bird or something in the foreground, otherwise, its just a pretty scene, nothing special about it for the viewer. IMHO of course :) |

Composition feels very unbalanced, way too much foreground, too much negative space on the right, too little sky. I don't really understand what you want to communicate with this photo, no colours, textures or forms jump out at me. There's not much mood to this photo. |
