love the atmosphere of this photo, the shallow dof and the soft focus add character to it. I find the chair on the left a little bit of a distraction. Nice photo nonetheless. 8

A wonderful and romantic setting. I feel the chair in the foreground/left should have been removed. Less exposure for the flame and some fill flash might have given this more pop. Nice work though. 5

I like the old-fashioned furniture, the muted background colors and the brick floor. Does "tame fire" refer to electricity or am I missing something?

It appears that the light on the table is a bare bulb, which is unfortunate because the rest of the image is so pretty and the light is glaring and so hard to look at. If the light were something more intimate, like a candle, and in keeping with the rest of the image it would have scored higher with me. I have to tell you that I do love the setting and muted colors of the rest of this scene.
