This is such an unusual viewpoint for a(n almost) macro. The background goes so nicely with the details. I just wish the framing had the stem in the bottom right corner. But I guess that didn't make a big difference since you are already sitting at an avg greater than 6.5.

Blimey Rozter....5 challenges 3 stars and one ribbon!!!!!!!!

I love the graduated peach backdrop on the shot which really sets the flower off nicely

The dof is so cool as well and it is brilliant the way the sharpness in the foreground dissolves slightly and then seems to return on parts of the flower in the background, before returning to bokeh

beautiful colors and detail on this. you are really hotting a stride these days, congrats on the top ten my friend. I think maybe you are going to rack up a few ribbons in the weeks and months ahead! i love floral shots and im gonna fav this one...LOVE it

My eye is not drawn to the 'unfurling' you want me to notice. Light, position, and focus point to other parts of the photo.
