 I had a candle picture handy so I tried doing an overlay as practice for the November, texture side challenge

I found a cool texture from suemack

WOW.. that's gorgeous. This is a perfect use of a blended layer in my opinion. The contrast between subjects is quite striking. Great work.

Candle melting through water. Nice idea. Fun how it changes the dynamic of a photo, eh? I'm loving this overlay thing.

Wow, way to use the technique to the benifit of the final image! Very nice! I love the contrast in cold/hot that I get from this....like comeing in to a warm fire after being outside in the cold all day!

I like the juxtaposition of water and fire. I get the feeling I'm outside looking in as if peering through a rainy window.

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AWESOME .. this is the first one in our side that i've looked at and if this the shape of things to come then this thread will be totally over the top ..
you've combined a fantastic combination of images with the fire and the water together .. BRILLIANT .. :)
