 My macro lens is with a friend and I've been eyeballing my eldest daughters eyelashes for the past few days.

So I used my 50mm f/1.8 wide open and held it backwards over the camera body for this super-duper macro fun. Which I why I don't know the aperture and also why it's so soft.

Pretty much straight from the camera... cloned out a dirty spot is all.

I like it. Good soft focus. I think it would have more impact with the eyelashes in better focus. But it is a calming image as is.
