| one of my favorites from this challenge. i love the colors, the way you didn't have a rainbow of colors but a variety of the same hues. also love the round pastel in the middle, the focus is good, and the shot meets the challenge. My only critique would be the background. I would either like to see this on a crisp white backdrop, commercial shot/stock, or something unique.. the gray is drab and takes away some of the beauty of the earth tones. overall a pleasing shot, have fun with your new pastels! |

| yeah they are defenitely new, there is always some of them broken, that pisses me a lot! If they are new you really want them to be all complete and not broken, but that's life. |

| the diagonal lines in your composition work very well, the color selection and arrangement of the pastels is appealing. the only remark: for, the background is taking away the focus on the pastels (especially the brighter/used areas of the board). having a grey backdrop is a good choice. |
