Thought that this was an interesting variety of textures with the fluffy bear, the wicker basket and the textured wall paper. It looks cute too ;o)

This wasn't a set up shot, the bear always lives there! :o)

Photo was cropped/resized/levels adjusted and coverted to b&w.

I had the same idea but blew it out with the flash and didn't go back and retake (In the 300s somewhere). Like the way you got the three textures though. Great idea Jamie!

Nice texture but the black and white leaves me cold.

Cool shot and very nice contrast in textures. B&W was good idea also, but seems a little dark for my tastes...neat idea.

Great shot, I really like the contrast you managed between the texture of the three elements used. Nice composition. Congratulations.

Nice contrast of textures. One of the better photos. A bit flat and soft for my taste, though. 7

I like the different textures exhibited here -- they set up nice contrasts with each other. I think getting closer to the bear, though, and eliminating some of the "edge space" would be more effective.

+ There are some textures present. Your bear is cute.
- It feels like a snapshot and not special in any kind of way.

I see the texture, but the subject just doesn't hold my interest. I think it's very well photographed, however.

Not an interesting subject to me, though you've done it some justice with your photography. Very low contrast - or at least very dark white point. Whether that helps kep the subtlety of the light and the textures or whether you've caught them kind of despite that I'm not sure. Just feels very gray, rather than monochromatic.

This image has a lot of texture, from the basket to the wall, to the bear, but i think it would have been better if you focused on just one subject.
