 There was an amazing sunset on Wednesday evening. Ken called on his way home to point it out to me. I walked in our bedroom and our blinds were glowing orange/red. I quickly opened them up to see an absolutely beautiful sunset. I quickly rushed around to try to get outside to capture some of it before it was over. By the time I got outside it was just about gone so I only took a couple of shots. On my way into the house I noticed there was still a bit of pinkish color in the clouds above the house and the fall color of the leaves really stood out against the tinted clouds. I decided to attempt a picture of the trees with the sky. I couldn't fit it all in the way I wanted so I decided to just quit. I accidentally hit the button anyway and my camera was on a 15 sec. exposure. While I was waiting for the picture to finish I moved the camera around to pass the time. The picture you see is what came out of my movement. I liked the way the picture looks almost foggy. The darker objects you see on the left and right are trees.

Ooooooh, I love this different take on the sunset. This one fills the frame with its dreamy, radiant beauty and such VIVID colors -- TO DIE FOR colors!!!!

I'm glad you didn't see it too late. What a nice hubby you have to call you and tell you about it :)

I've gotten some of my coolest shots by accidentally putting the camera to a long exposure and moving. Great colors and tones. Try this as an overlay sometime.

I bet that was a beautiful sunset. I can make out the shapes of trees...too bad, but this makes a nice, colorful abstract! Gorgeous colors.

This is a realy great picture. I really like the misty colours. This could also be used for a texture.
