 Daniel, patiently waiting for me in the car while I pulled over to take some landscape shots.

Converted to b&w in adobe camera raw
Curves, levels, color balance, increased brightness
Filter>Render>Fibers>reduce opacity>erase away areas on face @30% opacity, 10% flow
Photo filter>sepia>erase sepia filter on eyes only

how absolutely wonderful .. its the sort'v photograph that isnt like a photograph .. i mean that usually when you're in someone's face with a camera their expression changes, even if its a subtle thing, and they can become self conscious .. especially your own children !!! .. and this doesnt look posed at all .. a wonderful candid even if he knew you were there ..
your processing and crop are just fantastic .. :)

OMG!!!!!!! that is perfection. The grain just adds to much to the already wonderfully deep expression. His eyes. WOW - THIS IS GOING TO FAVS.
