OK, fits the challenge. You must recognize that DPC voters prefer attractive subjects...so find a couple for the next challenge and your numbers will rise.

Where's the wind?

I like the idea, but the composition is uninteresting

I feel you are trying to make the shot with the title. Sometimes every body does it but with little success. The spike holes jump out to me along with the butt and become the main subject. MIght I suggest "Rained Out" for a title. I now see disgust, wet environment and no game. 5

This picture is rather flat, not much going on the besides a lonely burned up cigarette, it could look better with a different lightning and in bit sharper focus, good luck :)

This image comes across as a bit drab to me.

See the earth or should I say mud, see what once was fire (kinda) but not sure about the wind? Overall, this isn't very appealing to me, kinda ugly but maybe that's what you were going for. Let's just say I wouldn't hang it on my wall. :) Techically speaking, the focus is a little soft and the composition is lacking. But it does meet the challenge.

your choice of subject is not very interesting to look at. more colors and textures would help. the indentations are a start, but there needs to be more to look at.

Clever. But the Wow factor is missing.

Ewww... this is actually unpleasant for me to look at. It's very rustic, but I think you could've made it more artistic.
