Our world has been covered by a glass dome. As a last resort to escape, we have hoisted balloons, which, when they explode, create cracks in the glass!

I converted this to old BW with Virtual Photographer, added a soft filter, then did an overlay with the famous goodman cracked glass filter.

First I wanted the crack source to be where the top balloon is, but then I thought it might look like one just popped and created the crack.

that cracked glass seems to suit any image!

I love this shot with this texture! I imagine being under a huge glass dome that has filtered out most of the light, and those floating balloons are trying to break free through the glass... very fun!
