 the setup from yesterday changed...again. we ended up just shooting everything on white so all of my panic about making people "overcast" was for nothing.

sigh

anyway, i shot stills for a campaign for a state health plan. these will be on brochures and billboards and all over the place starting in late november.

the umbrella theme is meant to convey people who are "covered," so umbrellas were prominent throughout the day.

i shot this while balancing with a foot and a half on the world's tiniest bar stool. seriously. i can't imagine how uncomfortable it would have been to actually sit on.

i also got to shoot photos of the actors with the governor, which was kind of a kick. but i had 15 minutes to shoot at least three setups with each of 5 different models, as well as just solo shots of the governor himself.

i'm not supposed to post shots of the governor shoot (*cough*), though.

Very nice! I'm especially impressed with the whole standing on the world's smallest bar stool part. THAT would have been a good picture, by the way. Nice work!

Nicely done, at first we see all the cheerful faces and then the array of differt colors (Shirts and Umbrellas) really grab ya. The gentleman in the green shirt may have moved his head a bit (seems softer) but like I say we are quickly studying the colors of the shot.

Really nice image. The lighting is perfect! You should be proud of this image, plus it would look good for the rainbow challenge!

Um. governor who? hee hee

This is fun and perfect for an ad campaign. I got to be a model in a shoot like this once and ended up in several publications. I like that there is nothing but white surrounding the people. Umbrellas are one of my favorite props/
