| There are a couple of issues with this image. One the background is not even, there is a grey area upper left and two, this is very much looking like an image that was desaturated. I think these flower are bright red. THe center stamen has lost definition to what I would assume was the post processing. 5 |

| very very pretty! I think the space on the left is not necessary... doesn't entirely detract, yet doesn't add either. I wonder what a closer crop would yield. |

| I think the hot exposure on the stamen (pistil?) works quite nicely in this insatnce, It makes the flower glow. |

| Texture is good, lighting is excellent, placement is good too. The white (I have no idea about flower parts) really stands out against the black. Good shot! |
