I actually ignore most bugs, and put many outside. Mosquitoes, though ... mosquitoes must die.

At 10 mm, infinity focus, my shoe didn't quite come into sharp relief.

Looks like you chose the background well to complement your shot - I like how the ceiling moulding converges on you. Great facial expression - the everyman's "bug face"!

Tee heee! I agree about the mosquito thing. This photo is so amazing. It also would have kicked butt in the "Ground UP" challenge, don't ya think?

Sooooo how in the world did you get that interesting point of view???????? It's awesome!

Jeffrey, the SC must have gotten their inspiration for the current challenge "From the Ground Up" from this shot.

Very well done. You have given us a good image and a good laugh too. Thanks. I like the rotation of the shot, with the crown molding on the diagonals.

Good Going Mr. Jeffrey. Thought I recognized you there. But you had no beard. I've seen you with no beard, with half a beard, and with a full one too ... so versatile.

Very original. If the background was mor interesting, it would also have enhanced the shot.

i like the concept. i think it may look better horizontally oriented. plus, it looks like you lightened up the shoe's sole by the high concentration of grain in an otherwise clean photo - i think the sole would look better very dark than light and grainy...

This is a really fun idea, i would have tried moving this setup neat to a window and allowing in some natural light so that the white balance would be more nature and perhaps you would not have to have had so much noise in the shot

Nice job on the lighting and exposure up top. There seems to be a bit of noise on the sole of the shoe. Great Idea!

I don't want to be a bug in your house! Great perspective.
