Not much to say. Took this shot of a jar of potpourri sitting on a bookcase. My goal was to capture the variety of textures found among the potpourri, as well as include a bit of the glass jar. I converted to B/W so the color wouldn't be distracting (plus I simply love B/W). Also sharpened a bit after resizing.

great contrast, many will not like the darkness but I love it!

Nice choice for texture, great variety and contrasts. A little shadowy in some parts though.

Good texture, but potpourri is sure boring in black and white.

real concentration on these textures - and a great complicated composition too. Excellent light, excellent exposure. We like this very much.

think I'd like to see what color offers here. also closer in on one of the many textures might add so focus for me - quite a lot going on.

I don't care for this black and white treatment on this one.

Lots to look at, maybe TOO much in fact. Eyes bouncing around pic, looking for somewhere to rest my attention on.

This is a rather busy composition in my opinion. Some of the stuff I can't make out what they are. The shim of the walls on the top-middle and the wall and floor (or table) on the top-left should have been avoided. Good luck.

Interesting choice of focal point. I might have used more depth of field.
