 This is actually a flower vase kept on a bookshelf and the light coming from the lower shelf.
I was thinking of a caption for this and suddenly the Kryptonite from Superman II stuck with me. The shape sort of looked like a flower bulb and hence the caption.

Interesting title. It makes sense, though. I like the glow, but the rest of the image seems a little too dark. The edges of the box it is in are a little distracting from the subject as well.

like the colors and atmosphere, looks a bit tilted to the right though.
