| the lighting is really uneven - the background with the smudges and grey texture make it seem a bit muddy, and the pencil seems to me to be acting like a pencil and not as something other than a pencil |

| Isn't the pencil not supposed to be a pencil? The smudge on the top left is a little distracting to me. I like the pencil shavings though. |

| To me, this still shows a pencil as a pencil and I'm not sure but, I think the challenge called for a non-pencil usage in the shot. Nice shot though! |
