i like this.. a lot. maybe because the color scheme since i absolutley am a sucker for blackandwhite. or maybe its just a good picture.

| A lovely mess of subtle tones and bokeh. Well composed. However I don't think many people are going to 'get it'. I suppose the pencil is helping the growth of the plant? Still, you get high marks from me for producing a real bit of photography in a challenge that almost seems designed to remove any artistic flair, emotion or individualism. |

| For me, the focus of your image is the plant and the pencil is merely a background element and gets kind of..."lost." Again though, just the way I see it. I do like the lighting and the use of black & white. |
