Interesting photo, it seems to have so much depth. The boulder in the middle draws my eye.
Nice dark toning, sets a mood like if the forrest has burned down. Perhaps it has, I don't know, but it sure feels that way.

LOVE the photo! (The frame... detracted, in my opinion). - 8 -

Wow this is dramatic or more aptly called "emotive." wow this is like the pellenor fields on lord of the rings return of the king. and I guess that reference makes me a nerd- and you a good photographer!

If those are burned trees/bushes, might it have worked better as a color shot so the burned wood would contrast better?

This kicks butt. I love how deep the picture is, with lots of detail way back into the scene!

Frame is distracting. Otherwise, very good.

I like the harsh mood from the black, stripped bark. The seeming mist in the background adds a nice layer to it too. I dont normally complain about borders, but this one seems to invade the picture too much, it's almost like it's in the way of me seeing more of the limbs.

This border is distracting; perhaps a solid black one.

Living in San Diego, this shot touches home. The wildfires last year were horrible. This picture is great. Thanks for sharing.

In my opinion, the border distracts from the image but I am voting on it as if it wasnt there.

Nice image as it stands but I think it will be more powerful if you could higher and take the picture from above. 7
