I have been feeling lately like I am being tossed around by my emotions. I am at home and remembered I had this awesome dress and wanted to do some shots in it so I tried to capture a jump shot in which I looked like I was just flying aimlessly, because that's kind of how I feel. I thought texture added something cool here but I kept a copy without it because I really like how it looks both with and without texture.


This was taken at about 2 in the afternoon but it is really acting stormy here. The main thing was that in order to keep the sky with the right darkness to bring out the clouds and still have my bright enough it was key that the sun was coming at me. The sun was not straight above in the sky it was fairly close to the horizon and the diffused light made it possible to get me exposed as much as the background.

I think you did a great job nailing the feeling you sought to portray. It bugs me slightly that the black of the dress shows no detail. However, the light which outlines your lower feet/legs is nice. Good positioning in the frame as well.

I really like the competiton between the lovely lady and the hardscape of the towers. Creates a wonderful tension. Love the detail.

This looks like a barbie doll that has been manipulated into position and dropped. Great bg. Lot's of nice shots from you lately - thanks for all of the viewing pleasure.
