 this is the first time i try to photograph something i can set up, it was interesting to have control over everything, hope you like it. Shot in my living room using ambient light. Used a long exposure to avoid any bright reflections on the pencils.
PP: convert from raw, curves, hue/saturation

This is actually quite a clever shot. helped by the title, but it stands up OK on its own - probably one of the bestter ones in the challenge - should finish well. 7

Very clever, great creativity. Perhaps the downsizing of the image, would like to see it a tad sharper.

More I look at it the more I like it, bumping up. Hope it does well.

Simple, but I like it. Creative too. Good balance. I like the use of the black, gray and white pencils. I predict this will be in the top three (or it should be). Good luck!

How did you do it? I'm thinking the "background" consists of more than one sheet of black paper?
