This also reminds me of H.R. Giger's work.
It's Exo-Skeletal-A-Licious!

Creepily unsettling and also beautiful in composition and tonal range. |

I couldn't look at the entries/winners in this Challenge (sameness...I assume) but I'm certain that this is the best and most interesting out of the lot.
Very cool shot.

I didn't vote on this challenge but this is good. I like the rich warmth of the tones, despite the cold unattached subject matter. |

Wow - I think you really got robbed here. This is one of the most interesting photos of the bunch IMO. Very artistic and beautiful lines in that curled centipede hull. |

I really liked this shot though I didn't vote. Reminded me of something from a NIN or Tool video. Can't figure out why it scored sub-6, though every time I look at it I get this feeling that the image is tilted slightly. Maybe that's it. |

Actually, I believe it's a hollowed out millipede. The size of it is quite small. I found this under a window and just shot it as is. |

There's something of Giger in this - which is a massive compliment. I like this subdued photo very much. |

To be honest with you I kinda really like this shot. I had to come back to it, because at first I went through all the pics really quick but made a note to come back to this. I think a lot of people will pass it up and think gross, but I actually really like the texture and feel to this shot. It appears to be almost a NIN Cd cover. The sharpness and clarity are right on. I like the composition and the tones and contrast are right on. Your horizontal line is perfect and the title works. Very nicely done. 9 |

At the first glance the photo didn't look extra ordinary, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. I think it is the colours together with the textures. |

Dark, creepy, eerie, well processed and probably the most original shot in the challenge, and its a 10 from me |

that's pretty gross, but cool. A tighter crop would have been better, to get rid of the black, or at least straighten it if you have to keep it. Cool find thoough |

This is a very unique and interesting image. I like how it's mostly black, how it's very erratic and dark, and how it's framed. Very nice! |
