so clever and original. composition of elements works. to make this a bit better I'd suggest cropping out/cloning out the wire or hanging the pepper on something more photogenic (e.g. longer stem, held by a hand) . as is well done

I don't get the connection to the challenge, but that isn't all that important to me. I think your lighting is a little harsh for this shot.

very nicely composed. great use of negative space. I like how the eye is draw right to the torch flame. too much glare on the pepper, though.

Nice composition and colours. Personally, I prefer photos that express a more 'natural' interpretation of the theme without the involvement of machines or tools. Scores well for technical quality though.
