Garden Spider taken with Sigma f2.8 100mm Macro and reversed Nikon 50mm f1.8. Used one of my wifes watercolor paintings as background. Hardest part was getting this guy to sit still, even after cooling!
RAW conversion in RSP set at: color temp 2150, Tint -3, exposure comp +.32, fill light +15, shadow contrast +18, highlight contrast -13, custom curve at medium contrast. Saved as TIFF.
Cleaned in Noise Ninja set to auto. SAved as TIFF.
PSE4 to crop, auto smart fix at 20%, adj. brightness and contrast slightly, resize, sharpen, add border, save for web.

IMO the narrow depth of field works against this - especially the out of focus leg in the left foreground. |
