Not quite as good as the other coral skeleton submission, but there is more detail in this one and less symmetry.

| This certainly meets the âtextureâ part of the challenge, but, it could use a single point of interest to make good use of that interesting texture as background. |

| Good illustration of this surface. Rhythmical subjects like this I think either need to be incredibly regular, which this isn't, despite the intricacy and repeating of those patterns, or have something to distrub that pattern to work as a composition; and that element is missing here. I do like the progression of light across the surface though. Just a sense throughout the image that the very finest level of detail is missing - camera, processing or shooting I couldn't say, but it might well be a functions of being a hand-held shot, it has that feel to it. |

| Great idea for the challenge, looks more like the surface of the moon. A little sharpening brings out so much more detail in the 'craters' Well done!! |

| This is a very good take on the texture category. The image is quite sharp with interesting patterns. It might have more excitement if you could introduce a contrasting shape or color to keep the viewer in the picture. |
