| superb texture - one of the better ones seen so far. think i would position the leaf a bit more to the left rather than dead centre. but full marks for a good sharps shot. 8 |

| Nice use of DOF, good exposure and color. Composition is a tad to centered (in my opinion). Shows texture nicely. Good luck. |

+ Excellent capture of texture; I can almost feel it.
- Composition could be improved (perhaps a different POV?). DOF could be shallower to bring more attention to the plant and less to its surroundings. |

| great capture for the theme. well exposed and good color. the cropping is poor, though, as th bottom leaf is cut off awkwardly. I would have preferred either to see more of it or to crop in tighter to focus on the inner leaves. |

| Beautifully done - real fine detail as is essential in my view for this challenge. Great tones, great subtlety to the moment of light you've chosen. Perhaps a touch centred in photographic terms - I would have placed it further to the left, so that the eye could wander into the distnace of the bank and return to the plant. Serene colours. |

| Fuzzy indeed. I think this is a wonderful texture shot. The focus and DOF work well with the lighting to highlight the texture. |

| Yes nice texture. I'd suggest you simply the composition. Areas ouside the plant are busy and somewhat distracting particularly on the top right. I feel a tighter frame would still give sense of location yet it would simplify composition. |

| well focussed, good colour, slightly boring composition, would benefit from a tighter crop on the interesting but (too much background) |
