the centered focus of this shot makes it less interesting. try putting the subject off to the side or in a corner to make the shot stand out.

In this image I feel winter moving in slowly -- but not gently -- in the coldness of the background, almost as if it's sneaking around try to see if it can get in ahead of autumn. Nice feeling to this.
