Conventional white back isolates twisted dried leaf with mirror shadow - a creative view of interesting shapes.

Lovely idea but overly dark shadow areas suck the eye in to an area with zero detail.

Deep reds, a shadow that adds a curve, and darkness in the center that drags you in, kicking and screaming. Very creative approach here.

Good idea, but the shadow inside where the leaf is curled is a little distracting.

wish the center of the leaf wasn't black, at least it is on my monitor.

cool shot and I like the white background but I do feel that the dark shadow in the leaf is a bit distracting.

there's no texture left in the shadows - light is too harsh, too much use of noise reduction. still nice in it's simplicity
