I think he/she is lovely! I like the contrast between the body and the wings with shallow DOF. I thought this would have scored higher. Lovely image.

Nice head shot, but I'd like to see the wings also in focus. Too shallow DOF. I thought the left antenna was missing until I saw the blurred image of it.

Looks like the body was the focal point - usually the eye is the better bet. Too much of the beautiful wing is out of the depth of field.

I understand the want to use selective focus here, but I think there may not be enough in focus for my taste.

Dislike the out of focus wings - the in-focus face isn't very interesting.

More depth of field. Could you have reduced your aperture anymore?
