 Wish the background had been green but it was too late in the summer for that. I was happy to at least capture this gorgeous bird with its head up instead of pecking at the ground. Taken at a recent GTG to a game preserve.

a very nice image, well composed and exposed. i find the sharpened background a bit distracting - try sharpening a layer and masking out the background. otherwise you really call attention to the texture in the background, away from your subject.
