Letting go is to me letting all that you face in your normal life go, and just relaxing for a weekend. What could be more relaxing than a quiet game of chess in a peaceful environment.

That's what this is. Peace and quiet.

PS7: slight crop, convert to sepia, resize, usm, gassian blur (fade to 20%) and border.

Relax....

nice photo, the texture of the leather is very nice, you can see how it would feel. Make sense? Good job.

Nice shot, great composition and interesting choice of sepia. "Letting Go" message is not contained in the picture.

what are you letting go of here in this shot?

I like the composition and lighting. What is under the chair? Is that on purpose?

Cool idea! I like you interpretation on the challenge.
For some reason I find a litte too much distraction in the picture. Maybe I just too much light, but my eye wonders around quite a bit. All in all, a nice take! Good luck!

What's letting go?

I really like the photo, although I'm having a tough time connecting it to "Letting Go". I suppose you could say it's letting go of the day's concerns and enjoying the game? Anyway, this shot is very inviting. I like the angle of the chairs, the lighting, and the nice sharp focus on the chess board.

a lovely interior and nice use of sepia tones, strong and quiet composition. I'm missing your connection to the theme.

beautiful

Great composition. There's a glow at the left, a glow in the center, then a glow at the upper right so your eye sweeps through the photo with interesting textures and plays of light along the way.
