 At first I envisioned this shot at what I have now exept there was a flower shown in silouett behind the leaf. I think it turned out pretty good. It all depends on what you think of it now.

I used some twiesers and I tripod to set up my leaf. Then just put a green light behind it and set the White Balance to bulb. Then I took a second tripod (Shorter), and put it up on a chair to attatch my camera to. Then I took some shot trying three different coured lights behind the leaf: Red, Blue and Green. I chose green and set my White Balance to buld to get that nature look.

Lovely classic leaf shot, in focus with nice colors but I have seen many pictures just like this, maybe trying an angled center to have something different would be nice

i like the symmetry, although it almost seems like the vertical line is tilted left
