Designed to be a "people place" Williams Square in Los Collians is an abstraction of a Texas landscape in which wild mustangs might live. These mustangs jump across an articulated watercourse that runs diagonally across the plaza between the high rise buildings. The plaza is the length of two football fields. The plaza itself is a landscape of architecturally arranged Texas Pink and Bright Blaze granite, bringing the recreation of a Texas plain to vivid life.

If ever a photo needed depth of field, this is it. A lower point of view would help too.

This shot could be dramatically improved by cropping two inches off the top (just above the horses heads) and either leveling it or tilting a bit more off level. Leaving the steps in the foreground would still qualify it for architecture. Where is this scene?

Great picture but the focus is clearly sculpture and not architecture.

good sense of motion - might have been even stronger at more of an angle, rather than straight on ?
04/02/2002 05:34:00 AM
Great photo, but I would call this sculpture rather than architecture :(

good shot, nice eye for the correct angle. Or I should say a good choice of angle. Too bad the sky is not blue. That of helped but not your fault the weather wasn't on your side.

I like it, but seems more like sculpture

Wonderful picture of the horses but is the picture of art or architecture?
04/01/2002 12:40:00 PM
Excellent - those are fountains? Great angle.

Impression of galloping horses looks real, interesting reflections in windows.

Are these horses lit up at night? If so I would love to see that too :-) Well done

those are interesting.

Good interpretation, although I feel that a horizontal image would've worked better in different lighting.

More art than architecture, Nice pic! glad you got out of the way in time!
03/31/2002 09:08:00 PM
Obviously a great sense of action, but the chromatic aberrations through the trees are very distracting.
03/31/2002 08:50:00 PM
it feels a bit soft, did you try sharpening?
03/31/2002 07:40:00 PM
The subject here is more sculpture than architecture.
03/31/2002 07:28:00 PM
